About Us

One Church, Many Decades of Grace

Our Mission

To raise disciples who know Christ deeply, love people sacrificially, and influence society biblically.

What We Believe

Christ-centered teaching, Spirit-led worship, biblical authority, transformational discipleship, and compassionate outreach.

Leadership

Our preachers and leaders serve with integrity, accountability, and pastoral care. The current preacher is Bro Emmanuel Dawutey.

Meet The Leadership

Our History

The Koforidua Central Church of Christ started from a storey building popularly referred to as "Husieni Abansoro ase". The life of this church spans a period of half a century. After the establishment of the church, two separate congregations emerged.

In the late 1970s, these two congregations merged into what is now called the Koforidua Church of Christ, Old Estate. The first preacher of the church was Bro Abraham Mante.

Like most growing organizations, the church went through challenging seasons. By the grace of God, those challenges were overcome through the dedication of preachers and members, and this is how far the Lord has brought us.

After the exit of Bro Abraham, preachers who served the church include Bros Daniel Osei, Pius Gyamesi, and Fred Onomah Asamoah. Bro Emmanuel Dawutey currently serves as preacher, succeeding Bro Fred Onomah Asamoah about nine years ago.

The current leadership of the church remains deeply grateful to the Lord for how far He has brought us.
